PEEK and PPS: The Materials That Change Everything

Aerospace-grade, chemical-resistant, 250 C capable materials and what actually matters.

At the top of the polymer pyramid sit PEEK and PPS: aerospace-grade materials that shrug off 250-degree temperatures, aggressive chemicals, and loads that would fold ordinary plastics. Printed properly, they replace machined metal in a growing list of applications.

The honest part: printing them well requires heated chambers and process control beyond standard shop equipment, and the filament costs more per spool than some printers. For most marine and industrial jobs, PETG-CF already covers the requirement at a fraction of the cost.

We track these materials because the capability is moving downmarket fast. When a job genuinely needs them, we'll say so, and when it doesn't, we won't sell you aerospace pricing for a locker hinge.
