3D-printed parts from 3D3D are built for the use case you describe to us. They are custom-manufactured components, not certified engineered products. If your application requires professional engineering certification, third-party testing, or regulatory approval, it is your responsibility to obtain it.

Custom parts are engineered for the specific operating environment described in your quote. If you install a 3D-printed part in a safety-critical or structural location (such as high-vibration industrial machinery, heavy vehicle mounts, load-bearing frames, or marine standing rigging), you are responsible for verifying its operational suitability. When in doubt, ask us — we will tell you honestly whether an additive manufacturing polymer or composite is right for the job or whether you require machined metal or certified stock.

When you supply the design file, the design decisions in that file are yours. We produce what you send us; whether the design performs as you intended is your responsibility. If you want us to review, repair, or improve a design before production, that is a service we offer — quoted separately, before the work happens.
