Quote prep
What to send.
No CAD file?
Photos and measurements can be enough to start. A broken part is better than a guess.
Marine part?
Tell me UV, saltwater, heat, load, and whether it lives inside or outside.
Timeline?
Say when the part must be installed, not just when it would be nice to have it.
Shipping?
Small parts can ship. Field work gets scoped separately with travel at cost.
